|The sad facts are that every day there are animals that require our assistance – whether that be much needed veterinary treatment to alleviate pain and suffering; or a roof over their heads because they have been abandoned or are lost; or because they have been the victims of cruelty or neglect.|
Many people use their Wills to leave the precious gift of a legacy to a favourite charity because donations in this way are free from Inheritance and Capital Gains Tax.
It's a wonderful opportunity to do something positive in your lifetime to make a contribution to our work in the future.
|Help us to help animals by remembering the RSPCA Hants & Surrey Border Branch when making your Will.|
Please remember that the RSPCA Hants & Surrey Border Branch, like all RSPCA branches, is a separately registered charity. If you would like the animals in your local area to benefit, we respectfully suggest that your legacy wording reads:
“I give, devise and bequeath to the RSPCA Hants & Surrey Border Branch (registered charity no. 201291), 8 The Parade, Wharf Road, Ash Vale, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU12 5AZ, the sum of £….. or the whole (or share) of my residuary estate for its general charitable purposes. I declare that the Receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of the charity shall be sufficient discharge of the said legacy.”
